Failure in some form is inevitable when you are working toward something larger. However, many people without any hope of being successful allow fear of failing to guide their actions, or in most cases, their inaction. They will and do everything they can to avoid taking chances; they are afraid of making mistakes, and are afraid of trying anything that has the possibility of failure. This attitude will keep them locked in a comfortable bubble of safety never to test their boundaries and conditions, let alone reach their full potential. People who will never be successful are generally not going to take the time to improve. They do not read books, take seminars, or seek mentors who can help improve them personally or professionally. They may become complacent in their knowledge, skills, and behaviors, thinking they know enough. Meanwhile, the successful person is constantly focused on self-improvement.
